About the Mission:
The family of Richard T. Duell. Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Richard, 74, a resident of Schuylerville, passed on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at his home.
Born in Niskayuna, NY, Richard grew up in Duanesburg. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy, during the Vietnam Era, while stationed on an escort ship which guarded the seas during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Following his time in the service, he was a self-taught body shop mechanic, owning and operating a body shop in Arbor Hill. He excelled in his field as a metal flake painter. He also worked for many years at a towing company, moving and setting modular homes. Most recently he was employed as a manager at Lowes in Wilton. Richard enjoyed riding his V-Star motorcycle, listening to music, mowing his lawn, and puttering around his property.

Interment with military honors scheduled for 12:30 pm. Please stage quietly and in accordance with existing protocols.
