About the Mission:
We have been requested by the family of Richard J Herbs to participate in his military honors funeral services. Richard, age 86, died peacefully on Sunday, September 29th 2024.
Richard, known to many as Dick, graduated from Waterford High School in Waterford, NY, Class of 1956, and went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Air Force until his discharge in 1960.
Following his service, he pursued his passion for engineering, earning an associate’s degree in electrical engineering from Lowell Technological Institute in Lowell, MA. Dick enjoyed a fulfilling career as an Electronics Specialist at GE Research and Development in Niskayuna, NY, where he worked until his retirement in 1998.
