About the Mission:

The family of Michael V. Cameron has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services.  Michael, 77, of Hudson Falls, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, September 22, 2025.

Born October 14, 1947, in Glens Falls, Michael was a Hudson Falls High School graduate. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy on 9 June 1969 and was trained as a Fireman (FM).  He served for 3 years and 3 months on active duty, including 1 year and 11 months of Foreign and or Sea Service, with time aboard the USS Hanson (DD 832), a Gearing -class destroyer. He was honorably discharged on 8 June 1971 at the rank of Seaman (E-3), and for his service, was awarded; National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/1960 Device and an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Korea).

Michael was a proud member of the Hudson Falls American Legion Post #574 and a long-term member of Robinwood Park in Long Lake.

Special Information:

We will arrive during calling hours, starting at 10:30 am, form our flag line as soon as you get there.  Mike was a past Commander of our American Legion Post. After services are over, we will have dignified transfer, and then escort to Moss Street Cemetery in Hudson Falls, NY.
