About the Mission:
The family of Michael P. Bulman has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Michael, 74, of Hudson Falls, passed away unexpectedly surrounded by those he loved on Saturday, August 19, 2023.
Born in Glens Falls, NY, Michael was a 1967 graduate of Glens Falls High School. He entered the US Navy at the age of 19 on 8 February 1968. He was trained as a Machinist's Mate, and served aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt (CVA-42), a Midway-class aircraft carrier. He was released from active duty on 7 November 1969, and honorably disharged upon completion of his inactive reserve obligation on 26 November 1973. For his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
After his military service and completing his apprenticeship, he was initiated into the United Association of Plumbers & Steamfitters, Local Union 773 in April of 1972. He was a 50-year Life Member and served on the Executive Board and Negotiating Committee and Trustee of the Health and Welfare Fund for 16 years until his retirement in 2008.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
We will stage during church service. Please stage quietly and be ready for service to end about 12:50. We willl conduct a dignified transfer and escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for a 2pm service.
