About the Mission:
The family of Max H. Gollmer has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Max, 87, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2023.
Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Max was a 1953 graduate of Northside High School and went on to continue his education at Indiana University, graduating in 1961. Max proudly served in the Air National Guard in 1953 and active duty United States Air Force between 1961 and 1962 as a Jet Engine Mechanic stationed in Chablis, France. He was honorably discharged on 20 August 1962 at the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-5).
After his military service, Max was an employee of General Electric for over 40 years, retiring in 1994. He was an active member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glenville, a Rotarian for over 40 years, and one of the founding members of the Glenville Rotary Club. He volunteered at the Glenville Senior Center, was a lifetime member and the Treasurer of the Lake George Power Squadron, and was involved with the Boy Scouts Troop 36 serving as Cub Master and Scout Master.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the dignified transfer. Escort to Saratoga National Cemetery to follow.
