About the Mission:

Patriot Guard Riders has been requested by the family of Maureen F. Kohler to participate in her military honors funeral services. Maureen, age 74, of Gloversville, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville.

Born in Danbury, CT, Maureen was a graduate of Immaculate High School in Danbury. Enlisting in the US Navy on 1 May 1970, Maureen served as an inhalation therapist, at St. Albans Naval Hospital, NY.  She was honorably discharged at the rank of Seaman (E-3), with a rating of Hospitalman (MOS HN-0000) on 20 August 1971.  For her service, Maureen was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

After her military service, she was later employed at Nathan Littauer Hospital, and retired from Fulton Montgomery Community College.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

We will stand flag line for calling hours 10:00-12:00, then will have dignified transfer and escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for a 2:00 pm service.
