About the Mission:
The family of LeRoy A. Lawyer, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. LeRoy, 85, of Early Woodland Apartments passed away Friday, August 16th at his home.
Mr. Lawyer was born September 7, 1938 in Cobleskill, NY. He graduated from Canajoharie High School in 1958 and immediately enlisted in the US Air Force. He served his country faithfully for 22 years in the Military Police in several States, including Griffis Air Force Base in Rome, NY, along with time in Vietnam.
LeRoy was a member of the Worcester United Methodist Church, the Cobleskill American Legion, AMVETS in Schenevus, and a past member the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #2040 in Cobleskill. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and bowling.

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for a dignified transfer. KSU at 12:45 pm for escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for interment with military honors.
NOTE: For anyone that would like to join up to ride to Cobleskill, I will be staging at the Pilot Travel Center, 1128 Duanesburg Rd, Rotterdam, NY 12306, with KSU at 11:45 pm.
For the escort to Saratoga National Cemetery; we will be traveling at highway speeds (65+) a good portion of the way. Please ensure that your flags are securely attached.
