About the Mission:
The family of Leland R. Case has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Leland, 101, passed on 16 June 2025.
Born and raised in Noxen, PA, Leland enlisted in the United States Navy on 15 December 1942. He served as a Gunners Mate during WWII aboard the Liberty-class ships SS Stephen F. Austin, and the SS John Einig. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class, with a rating of Gunners Mate 3. For his service, he was awarded a Pacific Theater Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon and a WW II Victory Medal.
After his military service, Leland drove car carriers for M&G Convoy. He actively dedicated himself to the community through his participation at VFW Post 9594, Grace United Methodist Church, the local Lions Club and Senior Projects of Ravena.
Leland's son, Robert L. Chase passed on the same day as his father, and will be interred along with him during this mission.

Special Information:
Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the arrival of family and guests. There will be an 11:00 Funeral Service, followed by a dignified transfer and escort to Chestnut Lawn Cemetery, 14311 US Route 9W, New Baltimore, NY 12124, where interment with military honors will be conducted.
