About the Mission:
The family of Kieth R. Seymour has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Keith, 89, of Hudson Falls, passed with his loving family at his side on Monday, July 21, 2025.
Keith enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1953, during the Korean War and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge at the rank of private First Class in 1956. During active duty, he was stationed in Japan in 1954, Okinawa in 1955, and aboard the USS Talaga (AE-3), a Kilauea-class ammunition ship in 1956. For his service, he was awarded a Good Conduct Medal and a National Defense Service Medal.
In 1956, Keith returned to Saranac Lake where he was part of a work crew blasting mountains to make way for what is now the Adirondack Northway. He was a longtime member of the Laborer’s Union Local #186 in Clinton County. He was a proud member of the Hudson Falls American Legion Post #574, where he was honored with the lifetime membership following 50 years as a dedicated member. Keith was also an Honorary Color Guard member.
