About the Mission:

The family of Keith C. Bishop, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services.  Keith C. Bishop, Jr., 53, a longtime resident of Hudson Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

Keith was a 1989 graduate of Hudson Falls High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Army, serving during the Persian Gulf War era.  He served his country proudly from 1991 until his honorable discharge from the Army Reserve in 1999, including four years in Germany and Stateside.  He was honorably discharged at the rank of Specialist (E-4), and for his service, was awarded the Army Achievement Medal (2nd award), Army Lapel Button, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and an Overseas Service Ribbon.

Keith drove a school bus for the Hudson Falls School District for several years. He then went on to work for Finch & Pruyn as a truck driver. At the time of Keith’s passing, he was employed at Irving Tissue driving a Midland tractor trailer.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

We will arrive during calling hours, so please stage quietly, and form flag line. At 1pm, a memorial service will be conducted, followed by escort to Moss St. Cemetery, 3097 US Rt. 4, Hudson Falls, NY 12839.
