About the Mission:
The family of Joseph W. pelkey has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Joseph, 79, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at his home.
Born in Portsmouth, NH, Joseph served proudly in the Marine Corps from 1961 to 1966. He worked for BOCES for over 30 years retiring as a School Tech Carrier. After retiring he started his own business known as Pelkey Excavating. In addition to these careers he spent his lifetime as a local active musician (lead guitar and vocalist). He was active in several popular long term bands starting with Country Express in the late 1970's and currently the Old Friends Band. Music was his passion.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
We will stage for the arrival of family and friends and dignified transfer. Military honors will follow. Joe was a great guy and a member of the American Legion Post where I am a member. He was a friend of mine.
