About the Mission:
The family of John Simeone, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services.
A Fort Hunter, NY resident, John enlisted in the United States Army Air Forces on 1 February 1945. He was trained as an Airplane & Engine Mechanic (MOS 747) and spent 1 year and 10 months on active duty, including 13 months assigned to the Army of Occupation, 25th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron in Bofu, Japan. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Corporal on 5 December 1946, and for his service, was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, Lapel Pin and Sharpshooter Badge (M1 Rifle).

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Staging at the funeral home with a flag line during the last 30 minutes of private visitation (12:30 - 1:00 pm). Funeral service at 1:00 pm followed by escort and interment with military honors at Pine Grove Cemetery, Tribes Hill, NY
