About the Mission:

The family of James N. Woodside has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Woodside, 85, died peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home in Schenectady.

Jim was born in Concord, Massachusetts.  He was a graduate of Newton High School and Bentley College. He enlisted in the US Army on 23 March 1962 and was trained as an Information Specialist (MOS 701.10). He served on active duty for 2 years and 9 months, including a one year tour of duty overseas in Germany. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Specialist 5th Class, and for his service, was awarded a Marksman Badge (Rifle M-1).

He was a long serving member of the board of directors at Billerica Access Television in Billerica, Massachusetts.

Special Information:

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line during the Visitation Hour, 09:00 - 10:00 am. A funeral service will follow at 10:00, followed by escort to Saratoga National Cemetery.
