About the Mission:

The family of Henry A. "Hank" Dashnaw has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services.  Henry, 89, of Wilton, NY passed away on Saturday April 28, 2024.

Hank grew up in Morrisonville, NY.  After graduating from Morrisonville High School, he spent almost 4 years in the US Navy between 1955 and 1958. He attended Plattsburg State College for Teaching, earning a Batchelor’s Degree in Teaching. Throughout his entire life Hank was a teacher. It began as a Navy seaman teaching swimming, continued as a teacher for 31 years (in Trumansburg and Waterford NY), as a 4-H leader. 

Hank was a member and past president of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Members will stand a flag line for the 2nd half of the calling hours. After service, there will be a dignified transfer and then escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for a 1:00 pm
