About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has once again been asked to stand for Eugene L. Talbot. Eugene, 91, passed away peacefully March 10, 2024 at Nathan Littauer Nursing Home. Members stood for Eugene during Calling Hours on March 15, 2024.
Born in Ilion, NY, Eugene, "Gene" as he was most commonly known, was educated in Ilion schools. He joined the United States Army on 7 February 1951 and trained as a Telephone Lineman. He spent 1 year and 7 months overseas and was honorably discharged on 6 February 1954 at the rank of Private. For his service, he was awarded the following decorations; National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Army of Occupation Medal (Japan) and Korean Service Medal.
After his military service time, Gene worked in Wells, NY as part of a logging operation. In Wells. Gene worked as a lineman for over 35 years for a combination of ConTel and GTE.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

We will stage for dignified transfer and then escort to Algonquin Cemetery in Northville NY. KSU 9:15.
