About the Mission:

The family of Craig E. Secore has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Craig, 69, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Syracuse, NY, Craig was a 1973 graduate of Chateaugay High School and went on to proudly defend his country in the United States Air Force. Following his active-duty time, Craig started his 33-year career at the Stratton 109th Air National Guard Base, retiring in 2007 at the rank of Master Sergeant (E-7). During his time serving in the military Craig was able to see the world.

Craig enjoyed his home and loved to tend to his yard. He found joy in music and his classic MG car. Above all, he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family and will be fondly remembered for his laid-back, go-with-the-flow demeanor.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the dignified transfer, followed by escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for interment with military honors.
