About the Mission:
The family of Clifford R. Bolton has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Clifford, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Born in New York City, Cliff spent most of his life in Albany and was a graduate of Albany High School, class of 1960. He went on to join the US Navy and served on the USS Bordelon (DD/DDR-881), a Gearing-class destroyer. Following his honorable discharge from active service in 1963, Cliff continued to support his country in the Naval Reserves until 1966.
Following his military service, Clifford returned to Albany and took employment as a security guard with Albany Medical Center. He retired as Security Captain after 48 years of service.

Special Information:
Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the arrival of family and guests. Members will hold the flag line during the Visitation period, 10:00 - 11:00 am. At the conclusion of a Funeral Service at 11:00 am, members will provide escort to Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Albany, NY 12205 where interment with military honors will be conducted.
