About the Mission:
The family of Clifford Johnson, Sr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Clifford, 85, passed on August 29, 2023, in Albany, NY.
Born in Kingston, NY, Clifford graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1955. In his earlier years, he was a Golden Gloves boxing champion. He served honorably in the US Navy from 1955 to 1959, as a Fireman Apprentice aboard the USS Ingraham (DD-694), an Allen M. Sumner-class destroyer, and the USS Wisconsin (BB-64), an Iowa-class battleship.
Clifford was a master welder and worked many years as a foreman with Consolidated Diesel. He was a multi-talented artist and was known for specializing in reverse oil painting on glass. His works were on display at Hamilton Hill Art Center. He was a life-long member of the Masonic Order.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the Visitation hour, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Following a dignified transfer, members will escort to Parkview Cemetery, 40 Fehr Ave, Schenectady, NY 12309 for interment with military honors.
