About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has been requested by the family of Carl (Burdette) C. Hart to participate in his military honors funeral services. Carl, 86, passed away on May 30, 2023, at his home.
Born in Accord, NY, Carl enlisted in the United States Army on 22 March 1954 and served as a Cook (MOS 941.10). He served 2 years 11 months of active duty, including 13 months with Co. “F”, 6th A/C, in Regensburg, Germany. He was honorably discharged as a Specialist 3rd Class on 11 March 1957, and was awarded a Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal.
Carl was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Malta, previously a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church in South Glens Falls for many years. Carl had a love for music and was in the band The Three Naturals. He was also an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle fan and traveled to Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in North Dakota 11 times.
