About the Mission:
The family of Bruce R. Zeller, Sr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Bruce, 80, of Quaker Springs, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at his residence.
Born in Albany, Bruce enlisted in the US Army on 29 March 1962. He was assigned to the 54th Quartermaster Company as a Textile Repairman (MOS 461.10). He was released from active duty on 26 March 1965, and honorably discharged at the rank of Specialist 4th Class on 28 March 1968, after completing his inactive reserve duty obligation. For his service, he was awarded a Sharpshooter Badge (M-1), and an Expert Badge (M-14).
After his military service, Bruce worked for the Saratoga National Historical Park in Stillwater as a Master Carpenter for 30 years, retiring in 2006. He was a member of the American Legion Old Saratoga Post No. 278 in Schuylerville, and the Goat Brothers Motorcycle Club where he coordinated their annual Turkey Shoot. Bruce loved woodworking, hunting, fishing and boating.

Interment with military honors scheduled for 11:00 am. Please stage quietly and in accordance with current guidelines.
