| About the Mission: | The family has requested the participation of Patriot Guard Riders in the military honors funeral of US Army Veteran Brian Thomas Cavanaugh, Sr. SP3 Cavanaugh served his country with pride during his service from 1954 to 1956 - Korean War Era while in HQ Battery, 528th Field Artillery Battalion. Upon separation from the Army he returned home where he worked for 30 years at Beltone Construction Co. Upon that retirement he worked many years for the family owned Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home. |

Updated 8 March 2022Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters. |
| Special Information: | PGR will stage a flag line for the arrival of family and friends at the church and for a dignified transfer before and after the funeral Mass. After the service, PGR will provide an escort to the cemetery. |
