About the Mission:
The family of Benjamin W. "Bennie" Wagar has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Wagar, 73, of Brunswick, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Wednesday, April 3, 20204.
Born in Troy, New York, Mr. Wagar was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School, Class of 1969 and attended Hudson Valley Community College. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device, and a Sharpshooter Badge (Rifle). He was honorably discharged at the rank of Specialist 4th Class.
Mr. Wagar retired from the Mohawk Paper Mill in Waterford. He loved his motorcycle and riding as well as to work outdoors and in the woods on their own land formerly a working farm.

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the dignified transfer. Escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for interment with military honors.
