About the Mission:
The family of Anthony Nicholas Insero has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Anthony, 84, passed on September 19, 2025.
Born in Albany, NY, Anthony served on active duty in the US Army National Guard from April to July of 1961. He was trained as an Armor Crewman (MOS 131.00) and assigned to Company "D", 1st Battalion, 1st Training Regiment, USATCA, Fort Knox, Kentucky. He completed his reserve obligation, and was honorably discharged at the rank of private (E-2). For his service, he was awarded a Marksman Badge (Rifle).

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the last hour of visitation, 09:00 - 10:00 am. A dignified transfer and escort to Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Avenue, Albany, to follow. Church services are scheduled for 10:30 am, followed by escort to and interment with military honors at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, 1389 Central Ave, Colonie, NY 12205.
