About the Mission:

The family of Edwin J. Smith, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Ed passed away at Glens Falls Hospital on July 3, 2024.

Not many details are known about Ed's life and military service at this time.  He did serve honorably in the US Navy from 1963 - 1967 during the Vietnam War.

After returning home, he was employed as a lineman for GTE and other companies.

There is no obituary available at this time.  Updates to this posting will be made as details become available.
