About the Mission:

The family of David E. Bulterman, Sr., has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his celebration of life services. David, 83, of Watertown, NY passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

Born in Rochester, NY, Dave attended Wayne Central High School, graduating in 1958. He attended Delhi College for Engineering and joined the United States Navy shortly thereafter. He was a nuclear weapons man, diffusing atomic bombs. He proudly served on the supercarrier USS Forrestal and was stationed in Jacksonville, FL and Norfolk, VA until 1964.

After his military service, David was employed at Xerox Corporation in Webster, NY.  He was a member and past President of the Walworth Volunteer Fire Department, a private pilot and on a Co-Ed Bowling League. He became a member of The Clayton Volunteer Fire Department and was one of the first of 6 Level 3-EMT’s in the State. He was a Legion Member of the American Legion Post 904 in Alexandria Bay, The Warthogs Motorcycle Club, The Clayton Volunteer Fire Department and The Legion Riders in Sackets Harbor.

Funeral Service & reception will be Saturday, June 29th starting at 11:30 am at the Clayton Volunteer Fire Department Graves St..  Following the service, burial will take place with military honors at Sackets Harbor Military Cemetery.

Special Information:

The family has requested a flag line before and after the service at the Fire Department. After the service, the Warthogs MC will escort the funeral procession to the Military Cemetery, Sacketts Harbor, New York. PGR will conduct a flag line at the cemetery.
