About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has been invited to participate in the honoring of another American hero, Roy S. Waldron, 59, of Frankfort NY. Roy proudly served in the US Army from 1983 until 1991 as a military truck driver involved in logistics, supply and ordnance disposal. Roy attained the rank of E3, was deployed to the Middle East for a time and was also stationed in Georgia and at Fort Drum. Roy was an avid motorcyclist. Funeral services and a Celebration of Life occurred in February. Roy will be provided full military honors as he is laid to his final rest with appreciation and gratitude from our nation. Please join me in acknowledging Roy’s faithful service and life as he is respectfully laid to rest.

We will form a flagline for a brief time while the family arrives at the funeral home. See a map here: Click for map A dignified transfer will likely not be necessary. We will stand down and mount our bikes for the short escort (3 miles) to the cemetery shortly before KSU at 10:00 sharp. At Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion, See a map here: Click for map we will again form a flagline for a dignified transfer and remain in place for the duration of the rendering of military honors and the presentation of a PGR plaque.
