About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has once again been asked to participate in the Snowball Express event at Syracuse Airport. The Snowball Express takes children who have lost a parent to military service, and their surviving parent to Disney World, in Florida. The children will meet with over 1,700 other children, visit 6 Flags, meet Gary Sinese, and hear the Lieutenant Dan Band. Please join me in visiting with these families and standing for them as they depart.
Note: As this is a much smaller event than the Honor Flight, you are on your own for parking.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
We will stage at the benches near the American Airlines counter, where we stage for the Honor Flight. We will stage no later than 04:30, and go to the gate and meet with the families.
Note: As with the Honor Flight, I will need your name as it appears on your drivers license, and your date of birth for our gate passes. As we were notified late due to a new organizer the cut off for names will be 6pm this Thursday, November 30th. Please send the info to me at
