About the Mission:

The family of James Rex Travelute, United States Army, has requested Patriot Guard Riders attendance at his service on Sunday, July 17th. James enlisted in the Army in 1962, serving four tours of duty in Vietnam. James was wounded three times during his deployment and earning the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star with two clusters. Please stand with me to honor this hero and his service at his final farewell.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

We will escort James to Sacketts Harbor Military Cemetery ( 9 miles ) and stand a flag line for his interment.
