About the Mission:

Patriot Guard Riders has been requested to stand in honor of Richard D. Blackburn, Jr., who served over 20 yrs in service to our country. Mr. Blackburn was honorably discharged from the US Navy at the rank of Petty Officer 1st Class, and for his service, was awarded a Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy Battle "E" Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Navy Achievement Medal and a Humanitarian Service Medal.

Special Information:

Members will stand an honorable flag line for the arrival of our hero's family and guests, The prayer service will begin at 10:00 am and after a dignified transfer, the PGR will escort our hero to Bemus Point Cemetery, Rt.430, Bemus Pt., NY for interment with military honors. Dress for the weather as rain is called for. Please bring an American or US Navy flag and thank you for honoring another American hero.
