About the Mission:

The family of US Navy veteran Michael Militello has requested Patriot Guard Riders presence to honor his life and service to our country. Mr Militello passed on February 11, 2023 at the age of 77. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Navy Expeditionary Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Star, Battle "E" Ribbon, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Navy Unit Commendation, and Good Conduct Medal and served from 1976-1982.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

PGR members will stand an honorable silent flag line for the arrival of family and guests. Calling hours are from 11:00 am -12:00 pm.  After a dignified transfer, The PGR will escort our hero and family to Saint Adalbert Cemetery, 6200 Broadway, Lancaster, New York for interment with military honors. Please arrive on time with an American or US Navy flag.
