About the Mission:

Patriot Guard Riders of NY has been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Chester M. Isaacs, Jr. of Hamburg, NY, who passed away on 29 June 2022.

Mr. Isaacs, Jr. served our nation for almost 4 years on active duty in the US Navy from 1966-1969, with a naval rating of Electrician's Mate. The majority of his service was duty aboard the USS Lloyd Thomas (DD764), a Gearing-class destroyer. Mr. Isaacs, Jr. was honorably discharged from active duty with the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class (E-5), and he earned the National Defense Service Medal.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

PGR will stand by with a respectful flag line for arrival of the family.  A prayer service is scheduled for 10:00 AM.  Following the service and dignified transfer, PGR will provide an escort for the short distance to Lakeside Cemetery, 4810 Camp Road, Hamburg, NY 14075 for interment with Military Honors.

Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Navy flag, and dress for the weather.
