About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has been invited to stand an honorable flag line for the arrival of guests for the opening of this Vietnam War 50th Commemoration Ceremony. The America Vietnam War Commemoration was authorized by Congress, established under the Secretary of Defense, and launched to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. Under the program, veterans who served on active duty in the United States Armed Forces between November 1, 1955 and May 15, 1975, or their surviving spouse, are eligible to receive a commemorative anniversary pin. Recipients must register in advance to receive a pin. You may do so by using the link below.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Ceremony starts at 1:30 p.m.. Congressman Brian Higgins will be awarding 50th Anniversay Vietnam Commemorative Pins to all Vietnam Era Veterans. After the ceremony there will be several Veteran Service Organizations to answer questions and provide details of expanded benefits. Please arrive on time with a flag of your military preferance.
