About the Mission:

Patriot Guard Riders has been requested by the staff of Western New Yorn National Cemetery to participate in unaccompanied veteran Richard Charles Olson, Jr.'s military honors funeral services. Mr. Olson passed 30 November 2024 at the age of 79.

Mr. Olson entered the Army on 21 October 1963 as an Interpreter (German). He served his nation honorably for 17 months at Fort Meade Maryland, and was discharged on 26 March 1965.  Western New York National Cemetery Honor Guard and Patriot Guard Riders will be his family.

Mr. Olson's military honors will be conducted at 1pm.  Members will park across from old shelter, then form a flag line at committal shelter to honor unaccompanied veteran Richard Charles Olson, Jr. Thank you for supporting our Veterans.
