About the Mission:
Every year, the last Sunday in September is devoted to honoring Gold Star Mothers and Families who have lost loved ones during times of conflict. The tradition of the "Gold Star" dates to World War I, symbolizing the ultimate sacrifice made in service to the country. As a heartfelt tribute, state capitals across the nation illuminate buildings and landmarks in gold on this day.Primary Staging Date and Staging Time:

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Weather is expected to be mild with 30% chance of rain. If raining, the ceremony will be conducted inside the Chapel. The ceremony is expected to last until 3:00 pm
Please dress for the weather and have a clean Flag.
