About the Mission:
The family of Theodore L. Wirth has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Wirth passed 4 January 2025 at the age of 88.
Mr. Wirth entered the US Navy on 3 June 1953 at the age of 17 and served as a Gunners Turrett Mate on the USS Newport News, a Des Moines Class Heavy Cruiser. Mr. Wirth served our nation for 3 years and 7 months active duty, with 2 years of sea service during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged as 3rd Class Petty Officer at Portsmouth, Virginia on 17 January 1957, and was awarded a Navy Occupation Service Medal.
After Mr. Wirth's military service, he worked for Ferro Ceramics Corporation until his retirement.

Members will stand flag line for arriving family and guests. After mass and dignified transfer, PGR will process to Acacia Park Cemetery for military honors. Do what you can to support Mr. Wirth and his family.
