About the Mission:
The family of Vietnam War Veteran Thaddeus J. Rebmann has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. Rebmann of Hamburg, NY, passed away on 1 August 2023.
Mr. Rebmann served our nation in the US Air Force for a total of 10 years, 4 months from 1966-1977, including over 8 years of active duty. His Air Force Specialty was 70270-Administration Supervisor, and he had 9 months of foreign service in Vietnam. Mr. Rebmann was honorably discharged from active duty on 2 February 1977 with the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-5), and he earned the following awards: Air Force Commendation Medal; Air Force Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; Vietnam Service Medal; Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon; and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will provide a respectful flag line for arrival of family and friends. The Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 9:30 AM, followed by Military Honors at the church. There is no escort or cemetery involved in this Mission.
Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or USAF flag, and dress for the weather.
