About the Mission:

The family of United States Navy Veteran Robert F. "Smitty" Smith has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Robert passed 21 November 2024 at the age of 81 with family by his side.

Born 12 April 1943 in Groveland, NY, Mr. Smith was a US Navy Veteran who served our nation from 1960 to 1964. After his military service, Mr. Smith entered the workforce as Heavy Equipment operator for Cold Springs Construction in Akron, He was a member of Cuylerville Fire Dept. and the VFW Post 5009 in Perry, NY.
