About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Richard W. Finn, who passed away on 26 September 2022.
Mr. Finn served our nation for 4 years on active duty in the US Navy from 1964-1968, with a Naval rating of Electronics Technician, Nuclear (ETN.) The majority of his active duty was assigned to the staff of the Commander-in-Chief, US Pacific Fleet (CINCPACFLT), at Camp Smith, Hawaii. Mr. Finn was honorably discharged from active duty on 19 December 1968 with the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class (E-5), and he earned the National Defense Service Medal and Cold War Service Medal.
Mr. Finn was a 25-year member of the Harrison-Lee American Legion Post #283 in Livonia Center, NY.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will stand by with a respectful flag line for the arrival of the family and guests. The Funeral Mass is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM. At the conclusion of the Mass, Military and PGR Honors will be rendered outside. There is no cemetery or escort involved in this Mission. Please arrive with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.
