About the Mission:
The family of Richard Norman Miller has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his funeral services. Richard, 78, passed away on June 4, 2023.
Mr. Miller was a veteran of the US Army, spending his service time in South Korea. He was a retired City of Rochester employee who worked at Mt Hope Cemetery for 12 years.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
We will meet at the gravesite at 9:15 with the family arriving shortly thereafter for a short graveside service starting at 10:00 am, with military honors.Use the main entrance on Mt Hope Ave, just north of Elmwood Ave, across from the Distillery Restaurant; enter and take first left and proceed to the end of the road as it is blocked by construction barrier and is the location of the gravesite (lot 10-215). We will form a flagline for the dignified transfer of cremains and then stand during the short service. I will be at the Tim Hortons at the corner of Elmwood Ave and Mt Hope Ave at 8:45 (parking next door in the Elmwood Inn parking area).
