About the Mission:

The family of Myron Dupler has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his military service. Mr. Dupler of Batavia, NY passed away on 25 October 2023.

Mr. Dupler served our nation for 4 years on active duty in the US Air Force from 1965-1969, with an Air Force Specialty of 81150-Security Policeman. He had 18 months of foreign service, assigned to the 6200th Security Police Squadron at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. Mr. Dupler was honorably discharged from active duty on 22 January 1969 with the rank of Airman 1st Class (E-3), earning the National Defense Service Medal and Small Arms Expert Marksman Award Ribbon.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

PGR will stand by with a respectful flag line for arrival of the funeral director and family members. KSU at 9:35 for the escort to WNY National Cemetery, 1254 Indian Falls Road, Corfu, NY 14036 for 10:00 AM Committal service and Military Honors.

Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or USAF flag, dress for the weather, and ensure your large flags are securely attached. Thank you for taking time to help honor the US Air Force service of Myron Dupler, and to support his loving family.
