About the Mission:
The family of Joseph E. Orsini of Buffalo, NY has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service. Mr. Orsini passed away on 31 March 2023.
Military service is limited at this time, but we know that Mr. Orsini entered the US Air Force on 15 March 1972, and he was honorably retired on 10 October 2006 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel (O-5.) His primary specialty was 8824-Judge Advocate.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will provide a respectful flag line during the 2nd half of calling hours from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. The funeral service and Military Honors are scheduled for 6:00 PM. There is no escort or cemetery involved in this Mission. Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or USAF flag, and dress for the weather.
