About the Mission:
The family of Joseph J. Biondo has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Mr. Biondo passed on July 29. 2024 at the age of 79 with family by his side.
Born August 30, 1944 in Buffalo,NY, after graduating from high school, Mr. Biondo served our Nation honorably in the US Navy from November 18, 1964 to November 18, 1966. His time included 11 months of sea service aboard the USS Yosemite (AD-19), a Dixie class destroyer tender nicknamed the "Yo Yo"
After his military service, Mr. Biondo worked for Fisher Price as Designer Packaging Engineer.

Special Information:
Members will stand a flag line for arriving family and guests. Prayers are expected at 11:00 am. After prayers and a dignified transfer, members will escort our hero and family to Grand Island Assumption Cemetery, 2950 Whitehaven Rd. for interment with military honors. Make sure your flags are secure and bring water. Temps will be in the 80s.
