About the Mission:
The family of Joseph F. LaTone has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in honoring his life and service to our nation. Joseph F. LaTone, age 77, passed away on April 5, 2024.
Born in Silver Creek, NY Joseph attended Jamestown High School. After graduating from school, he joined the US Navy and served on active duty from 1965 to 1967, including time aboard the USS Little Rock (CLG-4), a Galveston Missile Cruiser. The ship is currently displayed at the Buffalo NY Naval and Military Park. His MOS was SF4910, Sheet Metal Fabricator. Earning the rank of Seaman, E-3, Joseph was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Patriot Guard Riders members will form a flag line at the funeral home. Dress for the weather and make sure your flags are clean. Lead Ride Captain Bob Caldwell is Joseph LaTone's cousin.
