About the Mission:

The family of John DiMartino has requested PGR to participate in honoring his service to America. Mr. DiMartino passed away 15 March 2023, at the age of 82.

Mr Di Martino served in the US Army from 1959-1961, rising to the rank of Specialist Four (SP4, E-4), with an MOS of 131.10 (current MOS 11E), Armor Crewman. He served in the Headquarters, Headquarters Company, 5th Medium Tank Battalion. He was honorably discharged 9 August 1961 and completed his reserve obligation 9 August 1965.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Updated 8 March 2022

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

PGR Members will form a flag line at the church for the arrival of the family and guests. Services are planned to begin at 11:00am. Following services, PGR vehicles with large flags will escort the cortege to the cemetery. At the cemetery PGR Members will render honors with the active duty military honor guard

For PGR Members unable to participate at the church, please gather at the cemetery and form a flag line at Mr. DiMartino's gravesite. The gravesite is in Section 55, South. There will be a tent set up at the gravesite. At present the cortege is expected to arrive at the cemetery between 12:30pm and 12:45pm.

Please come prepared with a clean US or Army Flag. Bring your own water and dress for the weather. The current forecast is for temperatures in the high-30s with little chance of precipitation.
