About the Mission:

The Western New York National Cemetery staff has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in unaccompanied Navy Veteran James L. Torrence military honors funeral Services. Mr. Torrence passed 1 Dec. 2022 at the age of 68.

Mr. Torrence served our nation for 19 months, with 13 months sea service aboard the USS Sperry (AS-12), a Fulton Class Submarine Tender. Mr. Torrence was honorably discharged 20 May 1974 at San Diego Naval Station, California.
