About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders of NY has been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of Henry E. Frankhauser, Jr. of Cheektowaga, NY, who passed away on 10 July 2022.
(To be confirmed), Mr. Frankhauser, Jr. served in the Merchant Marine from 1952-1954. He then served for 2 years on active duty in the US Army Transportation Corps from 1955-1956, with an Army MOS of 443.10-Machinist. He was assigned to the 329th Transportation Company at Fort Eustis, Virginia, and he was honorably discharged from active duty on 14 December 1956 with the rank of Private First Class.
With his granddaughter Jamie, Mr. Frankhauser was a proud participant on a Buffalo-Niagara Honor Flight in 2019.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will provide a respectful flag line for arrival of the family and guests.
The funeral service is scheduled to begin at 10:00 am.
Following the service and dignified transfer, PGR will escort to Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 800 Pine Ridge Heritage Blvd, Cheektowaga, NY 14225 for burial with Military Honors.
