About the Mission:
PGRNY has been requested to stand in honor of the life and service of George N. Oguich of Tonawanda, NY, who passed away on 21 September 2022.
Mr. Oguich served our nation for 2 years on active duty in the US Army from 1957-1959, with an Army MOS of 051.10-Intermediate Speed Radio Operator. He had 17 months of foreign service with US Army Europe in Germany, Italy and France. He was assigned to the 1st Battle Group, 34th Infantry Regiment, 11th Airborne Division and 24th Infantry Division. Mr. Oguich was honorably discharged from active duty on 2 December 1959 with the rank of Private First Class (E-3), and he earned the Cold War Service Medal, Army Rifle Expert Badge and Army Pistol Marksman Badge.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: NYS Guidelines of 2 March 2022, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGRNY will stand with a respectful flag line for arrival of the family, and during the 1st half of calling hours from 5:00-6:30 PM. The PGR plaque will be presented at 6:30, after which the Mission will end. Please be prepared with a clean 3x5 American or US Army flag, and dress for the weather.
