About the Mission:
The family of Donald Patrick Freed has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his funeral services. Donald, 77 of Port Orange , FL passed away March 17, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.
Donald served proudly in the United States Army, and was assigned to the 101st Airborne during a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Private First Class.
Don was a lifelong Harley Rider and truck driver by trade and loved both very much.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Family will be arriving around 11:40 for a 12:00 noon service. This is a graveside service only. I will have site info at briefing. A live bugler from Bugles Across America will assist PGR, & Monroe County Honor Guard in Honoring Dons' service.
