About the Mission:

The family of Korean War veteran Cosmo Buccarelli has requested Patriot Guard Riders to honor the military service of their Hero. He passed at the age of 93 yrs.on Nov.23, 2022. He served from 1951-1953 and earned a Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Srevice Medal, Korean Service Medal w /3 Bronze Stars, and the United Nations Service Medal.

For 45 years, Mr. Buccarelli worked as a Process Control Specialist for Occidental Chemical Corporation, formerly Hooker Chemical, until he retired.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

PGR will stand an honorable flag line during calling hours from 3-6 p.m.  No escort or cemetery.  Please arrive with an American or Army flag.  Dress for the weather.  We have two missions at the same time, so take time to honor one of these heroes. Both are short notice requests.
