About the Mission:

The family of Charles E. Dunlap has asked PGR to participate in honoring his military service and celebrating his life. Mr. Dunlap passed 15 September 2025 at the age of 80.

Charles is a US Army Vietnam War veteran. Mr. Dunlap achieved the rank of Specialist 5 (SP5, E-5) with an MOS of 91B 25, Medical Specialist - X-Ray Technician. He served in the 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group & 5th Special Forces Group.

Mr. Dunlap served three years of active duty, 1965-1968. One year five months of that time was foreign service in Vietnam. He was discharged from active duty 7 June 1968 and completed his reserve obligation 13 June 1971.

Specialist Five Dunlap was awarded: Bronze Star Medal w/ V device (Valor), US Army Commendation Medal, US Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/ 1960 device, Parachute Badge, Expert Qualification Badge w/ Rifle bar.

We will stand a flag line at 2:30 till 4:00 pm then military honors will commence. The entire mission will be at the funeral home.
